Beijing, China, May 20 2023 – The 11th Central European Gynecological Endoscopy Summit (SESGE), jointly organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and the European Society for Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE), was grandly opened in Guangzhou. During the summit, the registered clinical trial results of the Surgerii Single-Incision Surgical Robot for gynecology were announced, which is the world's first single-port snake-arm surgical robot registered clinical trial for gynecology. The clinical results of the Surgerii robot received continuous attention from more than 300 experts and scholars present at the event and nearly 550,000 online participants.
The Surgerii Single-Incision Surgical Robot, with its excellent clinical trial results of 100% success rate in surgical procedures and 0% follow-up dropout rate, provides the possibility for the evolution of gynecological surgery towards more minimally invasive approaches.
