MicroPort's Honghu Orthopedic Surgical Robot Obtained Regulatory Approval in China

Beijing, China, September 15, 2023 – MicroPort® Honghu Orthopedic Surgical Robot, developed by Suzhou MicroPort NaviBot (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai MicroPort MedBot (Group) Co., Ltd. (MicroPort® MedBot™), has officially obtained approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for market release. This marks the first domestically produced hip and knee integrated orthopedic surgical robot featuring a self-developed mechanical arm to receive regulatory approval.
